If you are new to Gymshark, you may be overwhelmed by the variety of sports bras they have. Fortunately, on their website, you can shop by collections for an easier reference to what each offers.

Below, we give an unbiased review of 4 of their popular bras, and share how it feels on the body during a workout.

The Gymshark Story

Before diving into their sports bras, we need to understand how Gymshark is successful as a brand and perhaps an inspiration to others who want to start their own gym wear brand.

Based in the UK, Gymshark was founded in 2012 by then University student, Ben Francis. It all started with a simple idea to screen-print in his garage, and selling fitness clothing online. The brand quickly gained a following on social media, especially among fitness enthusiasts who appreciated the quality of his products and the company’s commitment to innovation and style.

With its successful marketing campaigns and quality fitness clothing, Gymshark has gradually grown into a major player in the fitness apparel industry. The company has expanded into new markets, including the US, Canada, and Europe.

Today, Gymshark is one of the fastest-growing companies in the UK, with annual revenue of over £400 million and a global customer base.

Sports Bras

A good sports bra is essential for workouts. In this review, we will be accessing each based on the support, comfort level, fit, style and quality.

Flex Strappy Sports Bra

Made of a Nylon, Polyester and Elastane blend, their Flex Strappy Sports Bra is perfect for indoor gym workouts. It is medium to high chest coverage, depending on how you adjust the straps behind, and is low at the back.

Made of a Nylon, Polyester and Elastane blend, their Flex Strappy Sports Bra is perfect for indoor gym workouts. It is medium to high chest coverage, depending on how you adjust the straps behind, and is low at the back.

The bra is good for low support workouts, as such, should avoid wearing it during your runs or HIIT workouts. The support is good enough and comfortable for functional training with weights.

The flattering part about this bra is the back where there is a big jacquard Gymshark logo at the back. As the back is 2 adjustable straps down, movement can quite restrictive when doing back focused exercises as the straps rest on both back blades.

The silhouette of the sports bra is similar to a tube top, as such, can double up as an inner layer to your everyday outfits. Its material is overall sturdy even after many washes and does not pile. Lastly, the sports bra does not lose its stretch as well, hence still gives the same support since its first wear.

The sports bra comes in other beautiful colours such as earl blue marl, charcoal grey marl, burgundy marl and studio green marl. Sizes XS to XXL.

V Neck Sports Bra

A cult favourite, their V Neck sports bra is one that we had to try. Like the Flex Strappy Sports Bra, this V Neck is also advertised as low support.

A cult favourite, their V Neck sports bra is one that we had to try. Like the Flex Strappy Sports Bra, this V Neck is also advertised as low support. However, the difference is that this sports bra is made of nylon and elastane, has a Y – racer back shape back and no adjustable elastic straps. Despite its non-adjustable straps, wearing this piece felt extremely secure and supportive.

We enjoyed this sports bra as the material was so nice. It was smooth to touch, no piling and is quick drying after a sweaty workout. The Y shape back is also friendly for back workouts as nothing is in the way.

The sports bra feels thinner than the Flex Strappy Sports bra on your skin, as such this is also good for low impact outdoor workouts.

Like other lines, this sports bra comes in many shades such as light brown, pink, papaya orange, glacier blue, kiwi green, with sizes ranging from XS to XXL.

Adapt Camo Seamless Sports Bra

One of the popular medium support bra is their Adapt Collection Camo Seamless Sports bra.

One of the popular medium support bra is their Adapt Collection Camo Seamless Sports bra. We first caught eye of it when a Youtube influencer was wearing it during one of her workouts. This piece, at first touch is thick and stretchy. You can tell that it will give all the compression you need when doing a more physically demanding workout. Though the site promotes it as a medium support bra, we personally feel like it has high support with such a beautiful neckline.

Its criss cross detailing both at the back and front looks good on the body as it shapes the chest and supports the back so well. We have to add that we did not experience dig on the back nor at the armpits, however this may differ with others.

As the material is thick, perspiration did not dry as quickly after a sweaty workout. As for sizing, do expect the item to fit on the smaller and tighter side. Should you worry, you can try sizing up.

The pattern on the fabric is unique to Gymshark – all over camo jacquard. The camo print spreads evenly across the entire piece and the piece comes in several colour like griffin green, cherry brown and black. Sizes run from XS to XXL.

Ruched Sports Bra

you can simply go back to ordering all of the other colours! Gymshark's Ruched Sports Bra has one of the most colour releases over the years and we are here for it!

Other than its many collections, Gymshark is also known for releasing many colours for each product. This is simply great as it gives variety and when you have identified your favourite bra based on its material, you can simply go back to ordering all of the other colours! Gymshark’s Ruched Sports Bra has one of the most colour releases over the years and we are here for it!

Its material is a polyester and elastane blend, but feels so similar to their V Neck Sports Bra. It is smooth to touch and comfortable on the body. Our favourite part of this bra is its scrunch to centre bust which is a unique feature on any sports bra. Its cross over strap back gives just enough medium support while it remains lightweight and breathable. There is a netting at the back of the bra, which allows for heat to escape and not be trapped.

The cut of the sports bra is simple and sits well on both the back and chest. It does not dig at the back nor does it at the arm pits. Overall, we can safely say this is our favourite because it is so lightweight and comfortable on the front and back.

You can view the range of colours they have here.

Summary: Which Gymshark Sports Bra we preferred?

Overall, we enjoyed all 4 pieces but had found that we had preference to their V Neck Sports Bra and Ruched Sports Bra as it gave ample support, remained lightweight and feels more sweat wicking as compared to the others. Their quality remains top notch even though they have many collections and are still trying to innovate and release more. We can safely say that a Gymshark Sports bra is worth investing in and to add, they have 2 large sale periods per year, so join their mailing list for updates!
